Had that prob once. Sent the kid to bed without food and told him when he was ready to eat what was made it would be there.

Turns out he really likes grilled chicken despite complaints it was burnt due to the grill marks.

He was ultimately successful in driving a wedge between his mother and I as she feared he would die if we didn't cater to his every need.
