He'll play one series in the first game, 1 quarter in the second (maybe bleed into the 2nd), and then sit the third. And when he's in, the play calling by Kubiak will be more vanilla than that gallon of Blue Bell in your freezer

I'm in the camp of risking injuries in the pre-season if that's what it takes for the team to come out of the gate in sync on offense.

The opener against Carolina can be viewed as a final tuneup before the brutal early season schedule kicks in.

Agree the carolina game week one is as good of a tune up game as your gonna get in the NFL. But the Panthers are going to win 4 or 5 games this season. Can't let it be us giving them a W because we were still figuring things out.

Theyre not a good team, but they've had a season and an offseason to try and figure things out. They're pretty much as gelled as theyre going to get.
