Scandalous, I think some of us are really putting too much into this. Sure, I wanted those players to come here but you cannot force them to do it. Thats why they call it free agency. and yeah it does piss me off that we don't get it sometimes what we think we deserve.

But people this is America, the American Dream does not come to you all wrapped up in a big ribbon and a bow, you have to go at and take it. Thats the reality. if it means you become a jerk or an *******, then damn it be it. Hell I don't care about playing nice, because in some situations that does not get you anywhere. It means you are a pushover , and the last thing I want this team is to be a pushover.
Bill Belichek may be a jerk and a reprobate, but at least he wins, he does not care what other teams may think of him or his team, he just wins and he sticks it to you at the same time. We should start having the same attitude in some aspects

I agree with you totally saintmann. We are way too nice. Maybe we need some dirty players on the team just to light some fire in some of the players' butts. I feel that some of these players take being gifted enough to be in the NFL for granted. I am sure you would all agree with that.

rob, sometimes the gloves just have to come off to get anything done. You play the game smarter, harder, and nastier. Their is no easy way in or out. This team and this franchise needs to get nasty and be more aggressive. Be more assertive, don't take no for an answer. Be an ******* if you have to be. Winning friends does not always mean you will win. No, it does not work that way. Damn it develop an attitude that says you can beat anybody and MEAN IT.

Actually mean it, don't just say it and think everyone will go along with you. Make them believe it, beat it into their heads that you are the boss.

WE are not winning the FA game at all people because we are either cheap, not aggressive enough, or just not doing our homework at all. do all these things and do it with some attitude. Maybe then maybe free agents will come here. Make an impression on them, make them want to come here

MSU, BTW those guys help keep me sane because without them winning I may be one miserable soul these days. If the Hornets make the playoffs or a deep playoff run, this town will go very crazy because we need a winner badly.

The Hornets and especially Chris Paul keep me sane and make New Orleans sports interesting and on an even keel.
