"There was some internal momentum for bailing on Toney during his tumultuous rookie season a year ago. His commitment came into question behind the scenes during his rookie year due to lack of playbook study, poor meeting behavior and frequent injuries.

The high-maintenance wideout hasn’t shown up to any of the team’s offseason program yet under first-year coach Brian Daboll, either. So the Giants are trying to move last year’s No. 20 overall pick.

Toney missed ample practice and game time from May through December due to a laundry list of injuries: two positive tests for COVID, a hamstring, ankle, thumb, quad, oblique and shoulder.

He got thrown out of a loss to the Cowboys for throwing a punch. And he had a toe or foot issue in OTAs when he wore the wrong-sized cleats and practiced at one point with one shoe on."

You maybe forced to draft Williams at 16th if a WR goes 7th. It pushes the whole line up. I was hoping to have Olave and Williams there.

I think Olave Wilson, and London are locks to be gone if that's the case.
 
I love this forum. Y’all have the latest on everything. I like Toney as a talent, but it doesn’t sound like he’s worth the headache. We have a great locker room.

They don’t need to. They still have a good group of WRs with Golladay, Shepard, and Slayton, without Tooney. They should focus on that Oline.
Tooney btw is way more focused on his rap career and not being with the Giants. Dude was M.I.A when Daniel tried to get the receivers together for workouts last off-season. He was still pretty much M.I.A after that as well. Dude has a problem with ghosting the team.
 
With a new GM and coach I’m surprised the whole team isn’t on the trading block
 
If you'd be willing to trade for him for the Saints, what would you part with?
 
Nah this is a guy you make a deal for. Wouldn't give up a first for him, but I'd try to make a very enticing offer. He is a superstar in the making.

EDIT: Didn't know he had off the field issues...guess that explains that.
