Giants are looking to trade 2021 1st round WR Kadarius Toney (2 Viewers)

You maybe forced to draft Williams at 16th if a WR goes 7th. It pushes the whole line up. I was hoping to have Olave and Williams there.

I think Olave Wilson, and London are locks to be gone if that's the case.

I think it’s likely those 3 are gone before 16 no matter what NYG does.

It’s a numbers game: 3 OT, 3 WR, 3 DE, 1 QB, 1 S, 2 CB, 1 LB, 1 DT gets us to 15. I can easily see a LB or DT not get picked and 4 WR go top 15. The biggest factor on Olave being there is a QB run. If Willis and Pickett go top 10 then maybe Pitt gets froggy. A draft with 3 QBs taken before us would give me heart palpitations.

The Giants were a disaster. Sometimes that can bring the worst out of a player. Remember Randy Moss had character concerns but you didn't hear a peep in New England. Sometimes a stable locker room can make a boy grow into a man. I wish the best for him. He's talented for sure. But he has to know that his behavior will have him out of the league. See AB as an example.

They don’t need to. They still have a good group of WRs with Golladay, Shepard, and Slayton, without Tooney. They should focus on that Oline.
Tooney btw is way more focused on his rap career and not being with the Giants. Dude was M.I.A when Daniel tried to get the receivers together for workouts last off-season. He was still pretty much M.I.A after that as well. Dude has a problem with ghosting the team.
I don't know. They still lack a true #1.

31st passing offense
Tony 420 Yards 0 TDs
Holladay 521 yards 0 TDs
Shepard 366 yards 1 TDs
Slayton 339 yards 2 TDs

Thats dreadful.

Anybody want Toney? Raise your hand.

He was ripping us a new one when we played him and I really liked him coming out of Florida. Question thst is begged is…what is wrong with him to make the Giants decide to cut bait this quickly?
New coach and GM trying to change the culture. Tony not showing up to voluntary workouts was the last straw.

I would gladly take Williams.

I'm already on board with trying to move up to the Giants 5th pick to draft Malik Willis, so I'd definitely consider going with:

We trade:

Pick #16
Pick #19
Conditional 2023 3rd round pick that could turn into a 2nd round pick (based on Kadarius Toney's performance)

We receive:

Pick #5 (to draft Malik Willis)
Kadarius Toney

I know many are against trading up for Willis, but I'm all in on taking a shot on him. Kadarius Toney flashed a ton of potential when he played last year, but there are some concerns with his attitude. If he doesn't put the effort in, it would basically just be a 3rd round pick given up. If he lives up to his potential it costs us a 2nd round pick, which is a good deal for a guy with his potential on a rookie contract.

Yeah, trading for a guy who's at least two years away from starting and a headcase who's constantly injured are surely moves winning franchises make. Right?

It's a dreadfully slow offseason with our coach retiring, hiring a coach nobody wanted, getting rejected by every OC, and missing out on every move. Let him have some joy. Lol

Willis isn't 2 years from starting. Some NFL evaluators have him higher than Lance and Fields from last year. I could see easing him in with a redshirt rookie year, which isn't uncommon, but 2 years away...Highly doubt it.

Yeah I've never heard of a WR having an attitude before. Would be terrible to gamble a Conditional 3rd round pick on said talented WR.
