Tough year from Taylor in the slot and boundary.

I think he got much better in the Slot last year. He certainly struggled the year before and early last year but he was playing great before he got moved back outside. Just seemed like the light finally went on for him in the Slot when they moved him back outside.

He may have wanted a fresh start or maybe Staley doesn't think he's a scheme fit? I just can't imagine we would not match or beat that if he wanted to stay and we wanted to keep him.

That's a steal in this market, even accounting for the penalties, and the injury (which he seems to be back from). Feels like we have let yet another young defender coming off his rookie contract out of the building for too little money. Hate to see it.

We are likely going to sign 2 or 3 guys for that price as free agents this off season so they could have done it. And Adebo would be our #1 or #2 CB had we signed him with either Kool-Aid or Taylor on the other side and in the Slot.

But, yes, we do have needs at CB now. Although I did like what I saw last year, I can't see Rico Payton staring on the outside or in the Slot.
