Why again did they play him in the 4th quarter of the 4th preseason game when he had clearly already made the team?

Why not play richardson, atkins, tom johnson and others lower on the depth chart. jesus

Poor 4th qtr personnel selection in final preseason game must be a Ryan family trait!?

The question is how long till Payton decides to put Foster on IR i can see this happening if he doesn't practice next week either smh. If he already knew he was gonna make the team and said he was fighting for playing time he should not have played the 4th quarter of that Miami game!

His signature is definitely amusing. I thought only our politicians did such....uhm...well, ok.

But yeah, foster won't probably play...nope

Topez' avatar is creepy, erotic, and wrong all at the same time.

THANKS Y'all! Nice to know a kinky perv is welcomed & appreciated here. My brothers!

god bless!

Really wanted to see him play, but we really don't need him right now. Even if he was healthy he may have been inactive in favor of more experienced back-up vets like Tom Johnson or Tyrunn Walker.

He'll get his chance soon enough.

I know, throughout the game I was saying to myself please take him out all I can think of was when Cassias injured his foot and was IR'd for the year when he became the favorite to start over Shanle at WLB. The coachs have to do a better job at preserving there players in the 4th preseason game.

Yeah OK, Walker may get some playing time because he did very well but Foster out performed Tom Johnson 10 fold, if he was healthy he will get the nod over Johnson.

take a deep breath, folks...

He could have turned his ankle stepping of the team bus. Someone had to play - injuries can happen at any time.

Well it seems like we always favored playing the vets over unproven rookies (Colston notwithstanding), so I could see that happening.

Tom Johnson has shown he can play in the NFL versus starters and play pretty well. He was injured all camp and now appears to be healthy. Right now a healthy TJ is probably a better back-up option for this game than Foster.

Playing vets is something the Saints generally stick with but keep in mind Sean Payton said it himself that they will find a way to rotate Foster on game days so that by itself leads me to believe Foster impressed the coaches enough that they feel confident in him even as a rookie.

Foster is injured so it is best they preserve him until he is fully healed until then I`m sure Johnson will probably get some playing time but it is not because the coaches feel sticking with the vet over playing Foster would be the better option.
