you need to employ several birds in your home to eat the gnats.

maybe a few purple martins

Its fruit flies. Clean real good then put out about 1" of apple cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar in the bottom of a glass or jar, and add a couple of drops of liquid dish detergent and swirl to dissolve. Found that on the net a while back and it worked. They'll drown.

Just google fruit flies.

But then I'd hear an annoying buzd-ing sound in the middle of the night as the sealed bottles were flown off...
