Golden days for NFL lovers (1 Viewer)

Aren't college coaches ridiculously overpaid themselves? Every big hit seems to go down as targeting, as well. College has clear favorite teams, too.

I get where you're coming from, but college football isn't a great product either - and the NCAA is just as corrupt as the NFL is.
I’d say the NCAA is more corrupt.

Winning. Winning changes everything. When the team you support sucks and misses the playoffs for multiple years, it’s very easy to let the types of things you described dampen your interest.
I’m not sure about that. I like rooting for my team that has an uphill battle to win. There’s a sense of pride that goes along with the “grind” of it all. Having my team not win it all every year, only opens my eyes to other things that are of greater importance. If I rooted for a team like Alabama (they are pretty much the gold standard), then that football team would probably make me an insufferable human being if they didn’t win it all every year. Hope I explained that correctly. Honestly, me personally, I don’t like things that come easy. My entire life was one big struggle and the grind and hard work, helps me to enjoy small/large victories or accomplishments. I’m built different than most.
