Good QB Draft Breakdown By Pellssero citing anonymous scouts, coaches, execs (long read) (1 Viewer)

First, thank you, snake pliskin, for posting the link. Fascinating read.

My favorite quarterback in the draft is Matt Corral. But after reading the article, I am truly convinced that Willis will be not only the first quarterback picked, but a top 8 pick. He should not get past Carolina at 6. And a fascinating pick will be Detroit at 2. Everyone has been critical of this quarterback class, but if Justin Fields and Trey Lance were in this draft, I am not sure they would be picked before Willis.

Some potty moufs in the NFL scouting departments.... LOL

After reading all that... I'm still where I was a month ago... If we take a QB... I want Corral... And I am fine if we have to use one of our existing 1st rounder to get him.
I’m with you on that. Plus go back and look at the Ole Miss vs Liberty game just last season. Liberty had that game circled on their calendar because it was Hugh Freeze’s first game back in Oxford. But Willis looked below average in that game. The Ole Miss defense was better last year but definitely wasn’t a dominating group.

This first throw in the clip is very impressive. First I’ve ever seen him in action. Haven’t watched any of the qb’s.

I like Pickett and i do think he is a frabchise caliber prospect. One negative tendacy i see and ive watched alot of tape on him. He prefers to stay at the back edge of the pocket and when its start to get a little dicey he tends to run right instead of the stepping up. He at times starts running right when he has a clean pocket to step up into b4 pocket starts to collapse. This should be coachable though but could produce some negative plays til it does.
