When Moore took a job with the Chargers in 2023, after spending the previous three seasons as the Cowboys’ offensive coordinator, he looked over all the things that Justin Herbert was doing well under previous offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi. He didn’t want to take away Herbert’s strengths, so he kept some of the things that worked well, that Herbert was comfortable with, and blended them into his own system. Some coaches wouldn’t even consider using pieces of someone else’s system or plays, but to Moore, doing it any other way wouldn’t have made sense.
Small excerpt from a great article. Moore being so diverse is going to bode well for us, no more square peg round hole

The offense will be better I have no doubt. The real question is can he lead grown men? Is he another DA who can lose a locker room or is will be he able to command respect without being a ra-ra type?

One of the frustrating things this year was whenever Taysom wasn't healthy, the playcalling seemed to lose all creativity. Like Kubiak had no adjustment he could make to suit the personnel we had left.

It would be nice if Kellen can tailor the offense to squeeze some juice out of the pieces we do have.

If he calls a great game in the Super Bowl and earns a ring, the players have to respect that.
Putting together a solid staff will be important too because he’s going to need a lot of help.

Only if they stay healthy. I hope the Saints invest into medical, training, and analytics. They’re behind right now

Taysom is a matchup nightmare. I imagine things are a lot easier with him on the field. On the other hand, Kubiak was dealing with a backup QB and 0 WRs most of the time without Taysom. I think he's a really good OC that got burnt with injuries and situation. Hope the best for him.

I think the problem the players had with DA is he just was not genuine. He had different set of accountability rules for different players. This " Leader of Men " catch phrase is misused. People think that leader of men has to be a rah-rah yelling firey aggressive alpha type guy. When more times than not the best HCs are not that type. Reid, Shanny, Belichick, John Harbaugh O'Connell, are NOT yelling , screaming rah-rah types

I think that communication and intelligence go further than firey aggressive bite their knee caps off type of HCs these days
Players want to know that their concerns and thought are taken seriously and they want to have confidence that the head guy REALLY knows what he's talking about

I am starting to think that Moore will be the Oppenheimer to develop our " Little Boy"

It's hard to be creative when half your OL is out and all your WRs were PS guys and you have 1 RB
