So Marshall dropped out of the Independance Bowl vs Army due to the portal and a coaching change. The portal may end up killing the smaller bowls... which is fine. There are far too many bowls now.

EDIT: n/m, Navy had 2 regular season conference losses. But they and Army played the same # of conference games as the rest of the AAC, so if they keep this up, you could potentially have a scenario where the conference hierarchy isn’t settled b/f the Army/Navy game is played. AAC needs to address this.

ORIGINAL COMMENT: So Tulane, Army, and Navy each finish the regular season w/one conference loss. If the Army/Navy game were played on rivalry weekend and results were the same, who would have gone to the AAC title game, and who would have hosted?

Or did Army and Navy play an extra conference game b/f this one? B/c having this game a week after Championship weekend makes zero sense otherwise.
