Finally some good news! I hope it comes true.

"An NFL source confirmed Monday that Nolan has accepted new Denver Broncos coach Josh McDaniels' offer to be the Broncos' defensive coordinator, and another league source said Monday night that Williams is seriously considering accepting the same job with New Orleans. Williams could join the Saints as soon as today, the source said."

This is beginning to remind me of signing draft picks. One has to sign before the next one will sign, etc., etc.

That same article says:

Williams also could be waiting to see what happens with Titans defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, who is one of the leading candidates for the Detroit Lions' head coaching job. If Schwartz leaves, Williams could rejoin coach Jeff Fisher in Nashville.

It's all speculation at this point. Unless I hear word from one of the "insider" guys like Schefter on NFL Network, I won't believe it. (or unless he actually signs/announces obviously)

He HAS to drop the second g. Just Greg. I don't trust people with the double letter first names. Gregg, Glenn, and you too, Amee.

signed, WiLL

I would like to have him, but I would love to have the guy from Philly, Sean McDermott. He's young and has plenty of ideas. He has also coached every position on D besides D-line.

It seems Schwartz will likely be the new head coach in Detroit.
If that happens then the whole issue becomes much more complex.

LOL!!! In a city where "o" is spelled "eaux".:hihi:

I hope we land him. He may not be perfect, but he's certainly got a track record of success that shames the Venturi's and Gibbs' defenses.

Now I'll be clicking SSR every 30 seconds all afternoon.

I wonder how far this whole Titans thing actually goes?

At least with us you know he interviewed, you know he left happy, and you know we are the frontrunners for him.

With the Titans is it all just pure speculation with nothing to back it up? Could be.
