My all time hero. My dad went to Ole Miss so I was a big Rebel fan. That being said, is that a mustache he’s trying to grow in that picture?
Also, man, Archie looks older than 74 today. That dang astroturf with bad Saints’ OLs weren’t kind to him.
I went to Tulane and we played intramural championship games in Tulane stadium. That turf was thin carpet on top of cement. Legs hurt for days after playing on it.
Nobody deserved to watch his sons have great success in the game of football more than Archie. Never complained or blamed teammates and Daints never built a team around him yet he handled it all with class.
