Indeed on the new coach, but since they also did the show in 2019, that grants them a 10-year exemption through 2029.

Unless of course they decide to modify that rule which wouldn’t be a surprise if they continue doing seasons with whole divisions like they did last year with the AFC North. If they continue that version of the show and do a whole division each year, after 8 years every team in the NFL would technically be exempt.

Unless of course that iteration of Hard Knocks doesn’t grant teams an exemption, I’m still not sure if it does or not since it was the first year they introduced it.
