I'm not convinced the team goes into clock bleeding mode. When the opponent steps up the defensive pressure, the "stars" fold, bad passes, turnovers and giving up fast break easy buckets do them in. I guess the reason doesn't really matter. Its wash, rinse and repeat almost every night, even when the "big guns" are healthy. Zion has shown flashes but injured way too much, obviously. But the consistency of the symptoms, no matter the lineup leads to the conclusion that a coaching change is needed.Went to the game last night. for 42 min we attacked. Last 6 min we went into that slow-play of a game we have been doing for years. Bleed shot clock to 8, then begin to run an offensive play, only to be defended so well, the only option is a contested 14 ft or 3pt - doink. Rebound, transition - repeat.
Up 10 and in 4 possessions, down 1.
ITs insanity.
Once again, we gave the game away in the final minutes.
to boot, they shot 19 more FT than we did. made 24 of them to our 17.
ugh.
