Have Saints players met Kellen Moore? (10 Viewers)

Everyone on here speculating. That's where I was going with that. I don't read much into Twitter stuff from players.
I feel like there’s a lot of incongruity between your first post and your next two posts.

You don’t care or read too much into a players twitter, but you put so much weight in the speculation about a player’s twitter by the people on this message board you’re willing to tell AK to keep his mouth shut and play ball, or get out of town?

Him getting chipotle was a bad omen and caused bad mojo.
Carr deserves some criticism in how he's handled himself at times while with the team. But the Chipotle thing from his first day in town with his family isn't one of them. It was one dinner at a restaurant that is very popular where he's from. It is one of the pettiest complaints about a player I've seen on here and that it is so often repeated is a stain on us as fans.

I don't even have Twitter. I go by what people put up on here. It was a yawn emoji which could mean anything. People speculate. BUT, IF the emoji meant what people think, then that's where the post of he is being paid to play football so play. But honestly, I really don't care either way. I'm a Saint fan, not a player fan. If you are here, I root for you. If not, then I don't

I wouldn't call it the "pettiest", it's more like the dumbest complaint I've seen about a player.

Ohh but don't you know the Carr Haters Club was out in full force that DC was not there to meet him for the whole 2 days he was at the facility. SMH
Without knowing if he's part of the Saints future, Carr is likely keeping a low profile. I'd do the same. It's one of those uncomfortable business situations that happens in professional sports. When Kellen and the team are ready to talk about his future, I'm sure Carr will be more than available. Can you imagine the humiliation of being there to pat the new coach on the back and buddy up to him in public, and then are told you aren't coming back a week or two later? Kellen's press conference was about Kellen, not Cam, AK or Carr. I'm happy they let him have the moment.

I wanted Derek Carr and realized how good he would be with a bridge QB, but once he ate Chipotle over a NO spot, I knew it was bad omen for things to come. Y'all can act like it was isn't but how things played out seemed like some Mojo got geauxin and the injury bugs was one of em. We had injuries before but not like this. That line getting wrecked after perfect start ain't no reg bad luck. I'm just saying....dismiss this if you want too but that act caused it.

To paraphrase Ricky Bobby........No offense, and I truly mean no offense, but that opinion isn't worth a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin getting it on.

Carr isn't well liked and Carr is a shoddy leader so he is playing his part at that.

At first I thought it was completely silly fans made such a big deal about this, but man ban omen was correct.

Carr going to Chipotle was about him feeding his kids food that they liked and giving them a sense of familiarity in a new city. It was nothing more and nothing less.

Any "bad mojo" around that was caused by some fans and internet gossipers who call themselves "reporters."
Anyone that has kids can get this, especially little ones like he does. You have to feed them things they will actually eat. When I got to San Francisco an amazing food city I had to take a 20 min drive out of the way to find a Chick-fil-A so the first thing I ate in San Fran was a Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich. Not China town, not Sausalito Italian not even some dang Sourdough bread a Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich. Part my fault because I said there was one in the airport but that’s my bad.

Point is it happens with kids. We got enough on field stuff to hate on him for maybe let him slide on the “ fake” Tex mex food choice.

Glad to agree with you on this one

No matter how much I disagree with some people on here I always look at a post with an open mind. If your post is really how you feel i can do nothing but SMH. C'mon man, REALLY?
The guy had his family with him , his kids might love Chipotle. Do you think that he gonna say , "Wait , we can't go there because Saints fans are ridiculously petty and will judge me on where I take my family to eat"

I'm sorry , but we HAVE to be better than that.

This. Wholeheartedly.

Carr's kids were approximately 2, 4, 7, and 10 years old when he signed here (I say approximately because while I don't know their exact birthdays, an article from September 2022 listed them as 21 months, 3, 6, and 9 years old only six months before he signed here).

Anyone that's claiming they'd seek out the most obscure, local flavor restaurant in an entirely brand new city after flying 3 hours across country on a random Friday night with 4 children 10 years old and under in tow is outright lying to themselves and are simply full of ****. Whether it's New Orleans or any other food capital of the world, I'll say they're entirely full of **** and they know it too.

At first it was just sophomoric to see it repeatedly brought up even jokingly, but anyone that's still seriously trying to hold Carr in contempt for choosing a place to eat that his children were comfortable with in a new city are down right idiots.

Thankfully that's already quite obvious when looking at their post history though, even if they wouldn't spout off "cHipOtLe" every other post about Carr.

Right forget the oft injured, inconsistent subpar play followed up with lights out play or the first season arguing with teammates or throwing a ball high and away to Olave because he didn’t run hard enough, forget all of it.

It was the Chipotle if not for that he would have been the next Drew Brees.

You know what I really think it is …… it’s because he lives on the North Shore that’s what did him in plus he didn’t go to the Super Bowl when it was here!!!

Seriously I feel bad for the dude. There isn’t much of anything he can do right by a large part of our fan base that expected him to be the next Drew Brees. Carr is who he is, an above NFL average QB. He isn’t Drew and never was gonna be. What he is right now is the best QB we have on our roster and unless Kellen Moore has a plan to get us an elite QB or he has already decided and been given the green light to bench him and develop the new kids we got (with an eye on getting a high draft pick in 2026) he is gonna likely be our starting QB. Let’s cut the guy some slack on where he eats, lives and does in his free time.
