help playing torrent (2 Viewers)

Once again, are you trying to play the SaintsGiants.torrent file? If so, that is not the game that you downloaded, but the torrent file that instructs the torrent program on what to download/upload.

If you have already downloaded VLC Player, you will NOT need to convert anything.

You need to find the folder that has these inside of it:

SaintsGiants.cd1.avi
SaintsGiants.cd2.avi
Torrent_downloaded_from_Demonoid.com.txt

USE Windows search feature to locate SaintsGiants.cd1.avi

yes that the game im trying to play. im using search right now. So its not what i saved in my documents saints vs. giants with bit comet sign beside it.

Yes, I found them and got them to play on VLC. Thank you very much Sibby and llamakc.

hey shibby, quick question....

I have uTorrent and am downloading the giants game.....but it seems that every 10-15 min, my cable connection keeps getting disconnected. I just unplug my power from the modem and plug it back in, and everything is fine, but it's starting to get annoying.

any reasons why it might be doing this? (i am pretty sure I have my port settings right)

That's probably the problem. ISP's generally limit upload bandwidth, try lowering that to maybe 10 kb/s during downloads, then 25 kb/s when seeding. There should be settings in your preferences to obtain these numbers.

Just try to be sure and maintain at least a 1:1 ratio.

You can try messing around with those speeds to get the maximum out of it that you can before your ISP cuts you off too. If it holds at 10, move up to 20, you know, find that sweet spot.

How fast are you downloading now?

I have Comcast, I usually get ~175kb/s or so, but I've seen up to 4-500kb/s.
