N/S Hendon Hooker Tears ACL (1 Viewer)

I think you'd really have to consider him in the 3rd--if available. Some team might fall in love and jump sooner. I mean look at what has happened to the QBs around the league this year, lots of teams are going to be shopping. We might have to finally come to grips with a soft rebuild/reload and ease off the salary cap hits, then be in position in 2024 draft for Caleb Williams??

I don’t think so. He was already an older prospect with limited skills. Solid player but I think he was a 2nd rounder. Now he’ll probably be a 3rd-4th
Yep. Jury is still out on if he is a system qb or not. And honestly since that Georgia loss... He has been pretty erratic. At this point I would say he is a 4th rounder at best.

I would definitely take a flyer on this kid in the second round. He this kid was well on his way to being a early to mid round first round draft pick.
Kid’s got a long recovery ahead, but I kid you not, this kid’s one of the best kids in this draft, kids.

I'll admit that I haven't watched a lot of Tennessee games this year. But I paid close attention to him when I was at the game in Tiger Stadium a month ago.

Hooker made a lot of big plays and his team dominated LSU the entire game. However most of the plays he made was due to his superior athletic ability. It also helped that his backs and receivers kept our defense on their heels the entire game. It's hard to imagine that he'll be as successful in the pros where all the talent across the line of scrimmage will be equal to his.

I know it’s CFB, but this involves a QB that could potentially fall to the Saints.

Is he already a 25 year old player? Someone told me he was 25, Chris Weinke esq as he's more mature than his competition but will be exposed at the next level against players more mature in the game than him.

I like Hooker in the 2nd or 3rd round.
I also like the qb from BYU, Jaren Hall, who will be available in the 2nd as well. Either one is going to need a lot of development.
But I think both have potential.
