Here’s the bottom line. Can we make the Super Bowl (3 Viewers)

It’s asking a lot, considering our circumstances at QB and receiver. It’s not impossible. We’ll need some major luck, not only from plays made, but in the injury department. Honestly, decent QB play, with Thomas coming back and this defense continuing to ball out and stay healthy, we have a chance. Obviously, making the playoffs come first. We have major problems, but anything can happen with a whole lot of luck.

Yea, we'll make the playoffs, but just dont know if we have enough firepower to compete with the RAMS , COWGIRLS and even the BUCS to go far... Maybe Michael Thomas will help. Our defense is elite, but the offense is not good enough to carry us if the defense have a bad day at the office.....Saints have exceeded my expectations for the year. I had predicted 8-9 season....It looks like they headed for a 10-11 win season.....Who dat!
I am 90% with you. The only thing I would say is that Sean Payton is one of the best NFL offensive minds ever. Given the Saints' schedule and how top-heavy the NFC is, they are likely to win 9, 10 or 11 games and make the playoffs. If so, Payton now has 9 weeks to think about how to construct a playoff offense from what is available to him. I would not count him out.

IDK but the odds got longer for wildcard teams and those not holding the bye. That extra week off for the top seed where everyone else is playing the 11th 12th or in our case 13th game in a row? We dont know what teams are gonna look like come the playoffs. Player health will be key. That extra regular season game plus having to maybe go on the road and win three playoff games. Brutal. NFL just stacking the deck against long odds teams.

I want TB playing the Rams in the playoffs as soon as possible to do us one favor at least

I strongly would consider trading for OBJ 😓

Give the farm for Wilson next year.

Because I can’t see how, with all back ups at wide receiver and a 3rd string QB we can make the superbowl. Defense is good, but it’s a shootout in the playoffs. You and I both know this. For example, if we play GB again or LA, do you think our defense can hold those offense to 10 points by that time?

I’m just selfish and want to see a Russ Wilson to OBJ connection with Sean Payton as coach
We are so far over the cap we would have to dismantle the defense to afford Wilson, and probably give up our high draft picks. So, that would mean Russell comes in with a depleted defense, the same WRs/TEs that we have right now. I don't think that would work out too well.

It's not specifically an expectation of mine, no. But I will certainly keep pulling for them as much as ever.

Right now…..the Rams are very good.

But, anything is possible.

I can see it now, Saints v Rams in LA. Rams about to score the dagger TD and CGJ crushes a receiver well before the ball gets there, no flag. Saints pull it off and go on to win the SB and next thing you know all penalties are permanently challengable.

We have a Super Bowl caliber defense. Can Taysom or Trevor move the chains enough to get us where we want? I don’t want to hear playoffs are a success. I promise you the vets on the team want more than “making the playoffs.”
I think the ceiling is the playoffs do to our QB and WR situation.

No. We could get in and win a game tho, even with our QB situation, if the D stays dominant.
