Watched the game again on NFL.com. The opening drive looked methodical and balanced until we cracked the RZ. I wanted to be mad at Carr, but the OL let Luvu in unblocked on a LB blitz. Not sure what more Carr could have done on that play. To be honest, we should have kept running.

SMH...OL has to be more situationally aware in that case.

As much as we talk about the passing game, our running game is ranked 21st in the league. We are last in total number of rushes for 20 plus yards with a grand total of 3! 3 rushes of over 20 yards all season. That is pitiful.
I don’t see that as a player/personnel issue either. With Kamara and Taysom Hill there is no excuse for being outside of the top ten in rushing. Carmichael has to go. He is way too predictable.

I don’t understand why he removes Kamara and Hill from the field so much. Even plays designed for other players, I’d like to see them on the field more drawing attention.

Missing on Penning was huge.

I don’t get it either. Kamara is never given the opportunity to get in a rhythm because they keep taking him out. I get wanting to keep him healthy but at what cost? Doesnt matter if he’s healthy and rested at the end of the year if we miss the playoffs.

AK said himself. This offense has no identity.

In fairness…the injuries on the line early kept us changing up lineups. Penning seems to struggle with pass protection so we pull him.

Defenses are now daring us to beat them with the pass.

This coaching staff seems like they are determined to prove they made the right move with DC at the helm. They want so bad to show he is the prolific passer they sold us on needing.

We lost our way this year…Run baby run!

I've said this before. Penning was never a starter day one from a rookie. The plan was to let him learn yr 1 and maybe he'd be able to start 3/4 into the season, but he got hurt and his rookie yr was a wash. Come yr 2 and he got very little offseason work due to recovering from injury. DA in all his wisdom did not get a starting caliber LT so that we could work TP into the starting lineup he just threw they redshirt rookie into the starting lineup before he was ready and he struggled. Then just when he was starting to improve each week despite having Marrone a Oline coach our rocket scientist HC pulls him, kills his confidence and stunts his development
DA MUST GO DA MUST GO DA MUST GO

Because he wants to use Graham more!

Sorry, couldn’t even type it with a straight face!
