Hollis Thomas Must Be A Beast On Saturday (1 Viewer)

I am more concerned about our linebackers containing Westbrook on the edges. That's where he's really dangerous, and we're pretty weak against cutback/bounce-out type runs.

Is there a possibility that Simoneau and Thomas could provide the offense with a lot of clues on defensive tendencies in Philly? To be sure they have the same D. Coord. and most of the same personell as when they were there. I sure would love another game like Dallas where we just seemed to always be one step ahead with our play calling....

Our TE's need to play big. I think we may use Karney out of the backfield in a Hback type of position.

That's exactly my line of thinking. Just like Willie Parker, he'll be looking to burn us on the outside.

Outside containment will be big against BOTH Westbrook AND Garcia. Thomas being in the game may free people up to focus on the edge, though.

1) The dome will flat be rockin ...even MORE than the MNF vs. the Falclowns.

I dont think the Superbowl with the Saints in it in the Dome will even come close to the energy in the Dome that night.......... that was a spiritual experience!!!!!!!!

Yea you right, Its gonna be a good game but this is completely different.

Hmmm there must be a reason the Eagles got rid of Hollis. I wonder what the reason was?

Actually, the whole run defense has to. The key player to stop is Westbrook.

Having said that, don't know that Eagles will keep up with our offense by just running the ball unless Westbrook has a monster game.

Reggie Brown and Donte Stallworth? Garcia can throw. He's no Aaron Brooks.

This is the same guy that said on another thread that the Giants offense, WHICH DIDN'T TAKE A SINGLE SNAP ON OUR SIDE OF THE 50, was a loaded offense.

Him saying Garcia can throw is a good thing.

Also, keep in mind that our defense plays very well against mobile QBs. Just like Romo and Vick, Garcia will be forced to stay in the pocket and he will fail.

He got a 4 game vacation because he thought breathing was more important than this going to the Super Bowl. Priorities for me

1.Bleed Black and Gold
2. Oxygen intake

Get the priorities in order HT

LesPaul, Payton addressed that in today's PC. Said it was insignificant. More important, he said, is the fact that the 2 teams already know each other from playing earlier in the season and can break each other's tendencies down by watching all the game tapes from this season.

I'm not worried about the Eagles offense. I'm not even worried about the Eagle defense. The Eagles do not worry me. This week is gravy to me. Just passing the time until our blowout win.

Oh yea I'm not a he; I'm a she. That's why I got the word Angel in my name as a clue. The Giants were imploding and in disarray when you faced them. They came into the game more focused and did pretty well running and throwing just not enough to win.

The key is Garcia is more experienced in the west coast offense you can't say that for Michael Vick can you?
