I have a problem...I have a teenage daughter and would like to heed CCS's recommendation; however, my wife will be highly suspect when I suggest watching "Hot Girls Wanted" because this anonymous female Saints fan suggested it (and I won't dare watch without here so she can find it in my queue, no thank you).

Any ideas for me?

Never mind his house was trash, the furniture was ratty and all the mattresses for the beds were sitting on the floor but hey, I guess everyone has a different definition of success. Like I said, he's missing a chromosome.

Why the need for subterfuge? Just tell your wife you heard about this documentary and it seems important. Talking to your wife does not need to involve pandering.

I started to watch it when it first came out but I never finished it. To me there was nothing informative about the program. Another guy exploiting young girls is nothing new. Now I just admitted to never finishing the program so maybe there is some great information that I missed.

I do think the porn industry should raise the age limit to 21, I mean at freaking 18 you really are just a child. These young girls want to leave their parents home for whatever reason and this is the easiest way to make money. They don't think about the consequences, and honestly, how many 18 year olds do?

Also, this is just my opinion, but I figure mostly guys will just watch this type thing just to look at young girls getting naked. I'm not implying this to anyone here in particular and definitely NOT the OP obviously.

I agree with this completely. I mean sure it’s nice scenery on a college campus where my daughter goes, but really no interest at all in someone who is that young. I’m old enough now where personality and intelligence are more important as I have enough life experience to realize that there are some bad, most good and the ones that are really good at a certain set of skill usually have a strong crazy trait that runs through them.

the more i think about it the more i realize it's going to be tough for me to watch
when i was a professional dancer in NYC i knew several dancers who supplemented income by stripping (have no idea if any actually did porn or "champagne room' stuff) - some handled it better emotionally better than others, but all were in vulnerable positions that weren't a 'first choice' by any stretch

then as a teacher most of my students were teen girls coming into their power - almost all were smart and strong but obviously young and naive - and continually in the sights of unwanted attention from older men

i'm not sure how much i want to see that actual exploitation - it's a weakness of mine - i still haven't watched any 9/11 or Katrina docs
