On a pure "looks" perspective, she's merely OK, and I like Jewish looking women. But the fact that she writes and plays her own music, does almost all of her costume and set design, and is in control of her creative vision adds to the "hotness" scale for me.

gross. i will say though, given her lack of physical attractiveness, its impressive that she's been so successful in her line of work. Typically women have to be good looking to be successful pop stars, but somehow she managed anyway. maybe its the elaborate costumes that made her visual appearance acceptable enough, compensating so that she could succeed in such a superficial profession.

She might be an attention whore capitalizing on the easily entertained/infatuated public, but I wouldn't go as far as saying she is tallentless. I just wonder what her first appearance was when she came out in one of her wierd outfits and how it was received.
