How about Mike Gesicki? (1 Viewer)

Miami is reportedly trying to trade Gesicki
I think he would be a good fit in NO. As some have stated, he doesn't block. But he is world's better at TE than anyone on the roster. Brsides N.O doesn't have the feel of a run offense.

Imagine a defense trying to cover M.T Landry Olave Kamara Gesicki and Perhaps Hill.

This will give the Saints a track offense with pass catchers everywhere. No defense will be able to account for it. No one player can ever be double covered. It'll be a big difference from the days of MT getting bracket coverage.

Mike Gesicki is likely one of the most underrated TEs in the NFL. He’s not an in-line TE, but he’s a great outside TE with incredible hands. He pretty easily has the lowest drop rate at the position over the past few seasons (unlike someone else…cough). I hate to compare anyone to Jimmy Graham, but Gesicki is truly one of the very few current guys who can make a comparison without getting laughed at. He’s a RAS monster…top five since the combine was created.

Man yall killing with this RAS mess, the only thing I care about is the 40 time(this doesn't matter sometimes) and can you play football. This guy can play football very well. If I knew the Sean Payton trade in the offseason was a done deal, I would be on the phone with the Dolphins right now. In fact I wanted Gesicki a few years ago when Miami had that fire sale, in fact see if we can get Jerome Baker too.

Realistically, this doesn't happen because it would negate the Taysom Hill move to TE, but if you traded Trautman in the deal, it could work.

Who wouldn't want Gesieki?

It would take a lot of luck to get him, we would need to have a player on the team that Miami envies.

The Dolphins. Any team that already has really good WRs and doesn’t want to pay $11 million for one season of a luxury player. Like the Saints.

He would be good with a team in need of a pass-catcher. But his market isn’t as strong as people believe.
