These are the same announcers that pronounce:
Jenkins as Jennings
Delhomme as Del Hommey

etc.

As someone already said, Garett is pronounced like Carrot except it's a "G" instead of a "C". I've got a neighbor who's kid is named Garett so I think I can go with the way they pronounce it.
