How long will Brady play. Which Records will he capture. (1 Viewer)

I wouldnt be surprised if Brady signs another contract in Tampa after this one. The NFC is a weak quarterback conference and unless Watson goes to a good NFC team, i.e the Saints, dont see any team that is a serious threat to keep Brady out of the Superbowl for a couple years.

I think that playing effectively through age 45 is a thing for him, so I'm going to say two more seasons and I think he might call it there if it goes well enough.

I think the thing most are missing is what a slippery slope it is from a physical standpoint. These guys have extended the age you can play considerably with science and knowledge but there is still a limit. I do think he will come back next year but I doubt more than that. Not everyone is going to be afraid to hit him and when a body with 44 years on it gets hit by a DE at full speed it isn’t going to end well often.

I agree, I think he already said he was coming back for another year. I'm surprised he made it through this year actually. I predicted he wouldn't make it through the season before it started. I hate to give Arians credit for anything but once they started going max protect most of the time, it has worked....

I'm honestly not too concerned because since the new CBA there is going to be 17 games, and so eventually those records will (probably) fall to someone else in a decade or two. I think every record has the potential to be surpassed. Passing yards, rushing yards, Tds, Ints, sacks, you name it.

Brady is most likely playing at least until age 45 or maybe even past it. All reports say he is loving Florida and Tampa's org. I think they most likely extend him this off-season to space out his cap hit. Tampa's window is wide open to compete for rings as long as he is there so I think at least 2-3 years in Tampa. He picked a great time to go to the NFC too. Things are trending down in the conference while the AFC has all the young QB talent.

Mahomes will break em all in 2032.
I am not sure about Mahomes. He has been injury-prone and his style of play does not hold up over the long haul. One of the reasons that Brady and Brees got that amount of volume is because of the way they play the position to avoid massive hits and hits outside the pocket. They also play a very fundamental style of QB whereas Mahomes is unorthodox and puts a lot of stress on his arm/shoulder with all of this highlight reel throws. That style really does not age well and he will not always be surrounded by HoF talent either.

I think the 54 game in a row TD for Brees will remain unbroken.

I think most records are meant to be broken but that is a good one and as far as Brees's records go, it probably has the best chance to stand for a while. However the one NFL record that I don't think will ever be broken is Favre's consecutive games streak which is insane. 321 starts in a row (297 regular season + 24 post season.) I mean...that means that Favre went 18 1/2 seasons in a row without missing a start.

I know brother....I’m 47 and took a tumble the other day skinned my knee. Been about a week ago...I’m in fair to decent shape for a regular guy. Not overweight or anything.

My knee still is hurt from over a week ago. Just sore....takes a lot longer to heal anything on your body.
