How long will Brady play. Which Records will he capture. (1 Viewer)

I think the 54 game in a row TD for Brees will remain unbroken.

The thing that's most impressive for me about that streak is he set it at 54. Had it snapped then immediately went on another 45 game streak (4th longest).

So he has the 1st and 4th longest streak separated by one game. If he had managed to throw a TD in that stupid Atlanta game his streak would have hit exactly 100 before being snapped.

Oh and don't look now but the guy that has the current active streak is at 25.

Some Patrick Mahome's guy. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about :hihi:

I know brother....I’m 47 and took a tumble the other day skinned my knee. Been about a week ago...I’m in fair to decent shape for a regular guy. Not overweight or anything.

My knee still is hurt from over a week ago. Just sore....takes a lot longer to heal anything on your body.

lol I fell 3 months ago and hurt my finger. The next day it was swollen and black and I could barely move it. 3 months later and it is still sore and a little wonky.

I’m 47 fair shape like I said. I have to go get labs tomorrow. They are worried about blockage in my arteries....blood pressure is sky high at night and the morning. I’m on 20 Mg BP meds....been getting super dizzy 😵 and breaking out in a sweat.

I’m kinda freaking out.

I seriously am amazed at Brady and Brees with their longevity....absolutely take care of themselves. But I don’t have a personal chef and make millions. I also work a ton so it’s a lil harder.

If they can keep having Brady involved in the overall gameplans, keep him clean in the pocket...he will play a couple more seasons easily. Some sort of injury would be his demise. He can still throw deep, gets rid of the ball quick and unless there is a defense that can keep pressuring him up the middle, he will keep producing. I have been pretty amazed at his almost rebirth this year. He is a freak physically. Look at how many dropped balls his receivers had late in the season and still just kept converting and moving the chains. Fast, big, freak receivers, a STUD O-line and any semblance of a running game will allow him to chug along for a bit. His records at the end of it all, if not cut short next season with injury, will be impressive.

I'm honestly not too concerned because since the new CBA there is going to be 17 games, and so eventually those records will (probably) fall to someone else in a decade or two. I think every record has the potential to be surpassed. Passing yards, rushing yards, Tds, Ints, sacks, you name it.

While I agree for the most part, Brady is talking, seriously, about playing beyond 45. he had one of his best statistical years at 43. If he plays another 3 years till 46, youre talking about pushing the yardage record to 92k+ and the TDs to 650.

Mahomes is well ahead of the pace to get there, but it is going to require a lot of luck with health, consistency and aging at an absurdly slow rate, or reversing the process like Brady. 90k yards is going to be virtually impossible to get to without someone playing 20+ years into their 40s. Its not so much the numbers, but being able to play into an age that only 1 guy has ever done.
