Ticked off. We have too many other needs to risk a first- or even a second-rounder on a project QB. Now if we target Dart () or Will Howard with one of our thirds, that would be acceptable if KM wants to try and mold someone. But I’d like to see what he can do with Rattler (or Haener), even keeping Carr another season if a trade can’t be worked out.

Or Jeanty even if we don’t know make the trench picks we need to. But we have to spend our first two picks on solid first and second round talent and not make ridiculous reaches that we could regret. Even if Dart ends up being legit.

Sick to my stomach. Maybe after trading down for multiple picks I might be ok with Dart with an extra 3rd pick.

If Dallas or Cincinnati want to trade up for Jeanty(or maybe a D player that falls in CINs case) and you get either 12/76/2026 4th or the latter with 17 and their 2nd: do you do it and draft Dart at those spots?

An extra 2nd or 3rd would be another starter.

This is all contingent if the rise of Dart is real and KM really likes him and thinks he’s the future. Dart at 12 or 17 makes a bit more sense.

I would think we were the dumbest most incompetent team in the league taking a 3rd round QB in the top 10. I would also think we were morons for not prioritising our two lines.
