With everyone healthy, Robertson is probably Special Teams captain again. I don't see him playing on defense unless Anzalone or somebody goes down.

A feel in my soul that we will see Robertson at LB some this year. Hopefully just in a spell role.

With everyone healthy, Robertson is probably Special Teams captain again. I don't see him playing on defense unless Anzalone or somebody goes down.

Robertson will get some snaps every game for sure IMO. He is so versatile being able to play MIKE or WILL. We could go with a Robertson & Anzalone lineup in some certain nickel situations when we play a team with a speed back & faster tight end IMO. I doubt we would do it often, but it is a different look that we could have out there. Anzalone hasn’t shown us anything yet and I doubt we will totally trust him until he proves otherwise. So Robertson will get some snaps at WILL for sure and wouldn’t be shocked to see him at MIKE every now and then cause of his speed and coverage ability. And he would possibly play ILB with Davis or Te’o in a 3-4 look as well. Davis, Te’o, & Robertson all have experience playing ILB in a 3-4, so I would believe we show some 3-4 in certain situations. Anzalone, Davenport, Okafor, & Kikaha could all play OLB in a 3-4 as well. Cam & Rankins or Onyemata can play 5 tech too with Davison or Onyemata at nose.
