I hope so. Him and all the quarterbacks. Leaves more top OTs and WRs for us.Another Bowers thread...
He's gonna go top 12.
Bowers is the type of player that helps both sides of the ball. Keeping the defense off the field is a weapon in itself. He would fit what Carr Likes/needs like a glove.
Wouldn't be surprised if the Saints even traded up to get Bowers.
Wouldn't like the idea of trading up.
Wouldn't be surprised, however.
I can’t get past 2 recent can’t miss TE’s named OJ Howard and Kyle Pitts. Both were gonna be all world and HOF players.
I’m obviously in the minority here, but you don’t generally draft TE’s inside the Top 15 picks of a draft.
We need to retool the Oline and this is a great year to do that. Oline is deep. I don’t look back at our bad luck with Penning. You have to fix the future now.
Never stopped them before...No way. We aren’t trading up for a 5th. That means we would have to give up our 2nd to do it. Or next years 1st. There’s no way this team has that luxury anymore.
Wasn't talking about Evans and Nicks. O-line busts are both bad and boring. And regarding the comments that Olinemen are boring …
Armstead, Evans, Nicks, Ram, Brown, Strief, De Le Puente, Grubbs, Bushrod, Goodwin, Stinchcomb and a couple of others.
These are the kind of players that allowed Drew Brees to maximize his potential.
You win football games in the trenches.
Prolific pass-catching tight end with a rare blend of acceleration, speed, body control and hands that could breathe new life into a stale NFL offense.
The approach to trading up is probably dictated by who you either think will draft the player you want, who is also ahead of you in the draft order, or who you think will be selling their picks to another bidder.Wouldn't be surprised if the Saints even traded up to get Bowers.
Wouldn't like the idea of trading up.
