I did not watch the Super Bowl and I am very glad that everyone is saying it was one of the worst game, if not the worst.
The NFL smart enough by changing their own script, they turn around to reward the golden boy to retire on top , remove the recent doubts about them trying to help the Los Angeles Rams.
Very Impressive and very smart.
Another reason is to help the suffering they caused to the Saints fans because they don't want to lose them and their revenue.
I can't trust them with anything anymore. Thank you Gooclown.

problem is, pretty boy brady already said h isn't retiring

I just felt like there was no way the NFL could let the Rams win this. I never would have made such a comment prior to two weeks ago. I can’t prove that this is what happened. I don’t know if this is what happened, but you can’t blame anyone for being suspicious of it. Anyway, they got what they deserved - the NFL and the Rams.

There was no script. They didn't need one. They didn't gain anything from one team winning over another. They get the big market LA boost either way.

No LA boost after 3 point performance? Hahahahahahaha

They took what appeared likely to be the lowest ratings in years to START a game and.......... ???????????? nice script.

Realistically though, how much of a boost to the LA market will tonight’s pathetic performance really contribute?
Wasn't about boosting the market. Was about Nielsen ratings for the game, and they get a much bigger share of LA. That was true regardless of how the game turned out.

The NFL got exactly what they wanted with Belicheck winning his 6th Superbowl at age 66. Oldest head coach/QB combo vs. youngest head coach/QB combo.

I'm not denying the possibility of the league toying with the games for them to reach a desired outcome, but to have the Rams win the super bowl is just flawed logic. Not that the league has done anything logical in the past 2 weeks... Why would you gift a new fan base the ultimate prize in just their second year? It took our fans and franchise 42 years to bring home the Lombardi. Some franchises have still yet to bring home the bacon. Its like spoiling a child. If they grow up with super bowls, then they don't understand the difficulty of reaching them and don't appreciate the value in winning it.
