And on the other side remember the river city relay? Amazing play to end the game and needed the extra point to tie…back when extra points were a gimme…we miss it.

It's exactly why I'm not upset when the Saints defense fails to close out a 1 or 2 point lead. Add in how much ridiculously harder it is to play defense now and I see a 2 point game and I just laugh and accept the loss.

People who have been Saints fans long enough knew the moment Shaheed, All Pro Punt and Kickoff returner, muffed the first punt of the game for an Atlanta TD, it was probably going to be another one of those bs games that the Saints lose at the end.

Still relatively early in his career so stats are going to be high...but a 85%+ FG average is amazing. Even more so when 15%+ of his made FGs are over 50 yards.

He is projecting a young Morten Anderson vibe for a team that otherwise has its struggles scoring.

Perhaps he will play for us at the end of his career.

I have never seen a 58 yd game winner look so undramatic. That ish was right down the pipe the entire way and didn't budge off it's trajectory. < not even a freaking wobble

To be fair, it's a compliment to his efficiency against us. 3 of his 4 FGs were right up the middle. Plus, if you're going to set a career mark, you better hope the B&G is your opponent.

He is one of the best kickers in the league. I knew he was going to make that kick to win the game.

If the Saints took their FG instead of the horrible 4th down play, and got the defensive stop as they did, and got the TD to take the lead as they did, and went up by 4, the game would have been over. Take the dang points.
