These are all players I pull for and have been proud of. They just had the worst game right before Christmas.

Man there's more to life than football. Hope y'all can enjoy that time with your family and know deep down even when we're mad we still love y'all

The ONLY good thing about the robbery of the missed PI call in the Rams playoff game was that it was the final nail in my football craziness. A part of my football need died that day. It allowed me to be able to watch and process games without the chest compressing stress and emotion that came after a game last night.

I remember being a kid and being into pro wrestling, when Goldberg had his 100 plus win streak. When he lost, I discovered how scripted it really was. Same thing happened then as it did after the no call. I was able to disconnect my emotions and now I don’t even watch wrestling. I guess it is kind of line finding out Santa isn’t real. A part of your childhood dies. My advice is to let the football dependent side of you die. That way you can enjoy the highs and disconnect during the valleys.

Glad I'm not the only one. Between parking, gas, tickets, and beer at that Rams playoff game, i spent well over $1k to be there. And we were absolutely jobbed.

I haven't spent a fraction of that money since, and the time I invest into the team is not nearly what it used to be. That game changed a lot for me. There are a lot more important things to worry with rather than a sports team.

Merry Christmas, yall! Enjoy your family time today.

Yeah, the NFL did an amazing job killing a fan base that adored its football team. People still love the Saints, but folks recognize something isn't right. The NFL is not as scripted as the WWF but their is definitely some meddling in outcomes.

Players are well payed and while I feel for those that have given closer to maximum effort, overall I just don’t care that much at this point….don’t want anyone to get injured and I hate that many of them will have to deal with long term health issues but to me it’s just entertainment now, I don’t take it as seriously as I used to…..

What’s that part about Santa?

Why do you think that?
I mean look at what has happened with the franchise. They were pretty much on the way out before Katrina. Then had to win a Super Bowl because of Sean Payton sticking it to the man!

Then bounty scandal then no call then Payton left. It’s a rummage sale.

Yeah, I don’t buy that, I think the NFL back then under Tags showed just how much they wanted to keep the Saints in the NOLA….remember that little meeting that Tags had with Benson when he was threatening to move them to SA? After that meeting, Benson’s tune changed dramatically, he gets a lot of love from folks on this board but for me it’s hard to forget how he acted after Katrina…..

And I’ve seen nothing since then that would serve as evidence that the NFL wants the Saints out of NOLA…..the fan base, at least in the CSP years actually grew pretty well….

I can still enjoy wrestling. We'll the old shows anyways. Prime time with Monsoon and Heenan is always funny. Those two played off each other perfectly. Then watching Sting, Flair and Dragon matches are a Gold mine.

Wrestling today can't touch the product of that Era.

I’ve had a Super Bowl and sixteen years of success.
The best QB in my franchise’s history is getting into the Hall next season and the best coach in my franchise’s history is most likely following him to Canton.
I can handle a few down years.

It makes no sense to move the Saints.
That NOLA/Mississippi/Alabama/Pensacola market would be nothing.
It’s not Philadelphia or NY, but it’s a nice medium sized market for any team.

After Katrina, there was a legit worry that the city would not be habitable again.
Even my family at the time were questioning moving somewhere else.

And it doesn’t make sense for a league wide conspiracy against one team.
