I have been talking about that kind of onsides kick for a while now , it's VERY hard for the receiving team to recover. My version is you bunch up around the ball before the kick, the kicker kicks it just enough to make it 10-15 yrds. The other players on the kicking team run ahead of the moving ball and block the receiving team and the kicker or some other kicking team player falls on it. And you've got the ball. Even if a receiving team player tries to get it before the 10 yrds, good chance it will be a big scrum and the kicking team has the advantage in numbers
