It was a team loss. It took every mistake possible to lose it. They’ve got to feel like they were the better team and lost.

But you can’t lose too many games to worse teams or you don’t go to the post season.

Winning personality for Saints through first 2 weeks

Ability to run the ball
Redzone run offense
Great secondary play/turnovers/ST’s
Explosive plays.

Last week only the secondary play and ST’s showed up minus the one play

This week it was ST’s and secondary causing biggest lapse.

They’ll explosive plays aren’t showing up at all and that’s something they need more of on offense.

They’ll get back on track but the most alarming thing I saw, that I don’t like, is that our DL can’t win rushing 4. Hurts and Cousins had plays where they could scan field for 4 and 5 seconds at a time.

It’s disheartening, as is the rush defense.

The way they lost both has certainly not been fun. I never get worked up over any of it, not for a long time, and these last two weeks even got to me a bit.


My Dad texted me “TD” after we scored (he’s not a sports fan) and I shot back “just means we’re losing by two.”


He came to visit after, asked me how I knew that? .

Seen the movie 100’s of times. And I’m not insane so it’s registered with me.

While I do 100% agree, you just can’t afford to lose games like this. That’s why only 3 teams in NFL history have done so.

A couple more losses like this and the eagles and we will miss any shot at the playoffs.

I really believe, if he would have been in. We would have gotten at least another 1st down, and that would have made all the difference in the world on the clock.
