I’m fully behind the very single Saints player, but I still have an opinion about which player at QB gives this team the best opportunity to go deep into the playoffs this year.

Hill had the most success in the 2 Falcons games last year and guess who we have next Sunday. I’d bet on Taysom starting unless he still has health concerns this week.

I personally would have gone with Hill in his normal role and Siemian as the starter, but that's not what Payton is apparently going to do and there is part of me that is very interested to see what Hill can do and I trust that Payton knows who is the best QB for this team with Winston out. Hopefully, he plays well. :

It’s hard to imagine that the Saints are going to use Taysom as the same hard hitting battering ram that he’s been known for as our Swiss Army knife. When he is cleared to play again, the Saints are going to use him where he can avoid big collisions. Since it’s obvious that Taysom would have gone under center after Winston’s injury if he had been active, I find it reasonable that he could get the start next week if the doctors clear him to play. But if he doesn’t get the start, it may be because his style as QB generally favors a lot of running plays. We certainly can’t afford to have Taysom back on the bench in the concussion protocol.

If Taysom stays in his flex role, Book is QB2 and we may sign another QB. Taysom has not been listed as QB 2 when playing his flex role.

The way CSP has managed his QB is 2-fold. In-gane, he has a QB1, QB2 (not Taysom), and a QB3. If QB1 goes down in-game, QB 2 comes in. This is due to game planning and practice reps. However, the plan has been that is QB1 misses the next game, Taysom moves from tge flex role to QB1. This is what happened in the past. Unless we sign another starter like River's, or Taysom isn't ready, this is what I expect to happen - Taysom start next week.

See above. It would have been Siemian in this game regardless of if Hill were active or not. But, Hill will be the starter next week if healthy.
