Why are people so anxious to get rid of everyone on this team?

not really anxious to get rid of devery but, he has struggled this year and it's more if you go after Fitz and get him there is no reason to still have Devery.

What is your next bright idea, cutting Brees to create the cap space to sign Fitz. Seriously, if we are going to spend that much money on a free agent it will likely be for an impact outside linebacker or strong safety (if we lose or let Harper walk)

Just stating common sense that we have too many other priorities (including Drew's next contract & Reggie) to afford one of the best WR's in the league, there is no way we would be able to sign him without hurting the team in other areas & destroying any chance for any significent upgrades on defense.

Well, you never really know. SP absolutely LOVES his offensive 'toys.' IF Devery were to not be a part of this team next season, I do think that Sean would try to find a replacement. I'm not sure it would be a big name, though. He also likes those 'diamond in the rough' guys, too.

Why would Devery not be here? He is under contract.

You do realize Meachem struggled in his first two seasons as a Saint along with Devery. If we would've cut them where would we be now? Be easy dude Henderson just came off a solid performance at Dallas, you should know when it comes to the Saints O you can be hot one week and not the next.
