If the refs aren’t overwhelmingly biased against the Saints, please explain this: (1 Viewer)

Just a random fan here...
but aren't half the teams going to trend above average for penalties and half below?

Is there a graph showing the top 5 most penalized?
If the Saints are always one of the top 5 consistently over that many years, it would be more compelling evidence.

But also, it could just be a coaching mindset as well to play more aggressively or to coach into the grey area more than another coach.
To really determine that you would need to analyze a lot of plays of when holding should have been called and wasn't to see if some teams are getting called more and also getting away with more non-holding calls.

Interesting graph, but I think more data needs to be shown.

It’s more the diversion after the Nola No-call. The separation between calls on the Saints vs calls on their opponents is pretty staggering.

No more data needs to be shown, it’s plain as day and ridiculous and egregious.

But, since you asked, here is an additional video confirming the information provided:

No way the NFL or any mainstream (corporate, profit dependent) outlet will touch this because NFL will penalize them if they do.

This data don't lie.

Payton called out Riveron more or less by name, and pushed for the PI review, which obviously the League INTENTIONALLY sabotaged. They absolutely intentionally sabotaged PI review. So, we will never know if it could work. And along the way they used the rule AGAINST us a few times to twist the knife/rub salt.

But clearly there is at the minimum bias, conscious or unconscious.

It's not too far from professional wrestling.

💯. I just watch and enjoy for the entertainment value. Only the Saints tho.

Well here's more to chew on and digest. This is not just a conspiracy theory when the numbers pretty much back it up.

Well, it's like this...

If you look at the disparity...I think it was confirmed that the disparity against New Orleans is the largest seen for a team since the merger.

At the same time, though he still has brain fots and goes pass happy in situations, the Saints are now the most "conservative" they have been under Payton. They are running the ball more and an aged Drew Brees is playing more of a methodical dink and dunk West Coast game. There is nothing aggressive, especially in the context of Payton/Saints History.

How has Sean Payton, a member of the NFL competition committee, not addressed this with the higher-ups in the league? He certainly is aware of this large discrepancy in penalties between the Saints and their opponents.

And I understand that he would be crucified by Goodell if he brought this up publicly. But Payton has to have made his displeasure with the officiating known behind-the-scenes. And yet the discrepancy continues to grow. I hope Payton takes a blow torch to the league when he retires and is no longer subject to the league’s tyrannical rule.

Probably a vicious cycle and the league makes its view known via the calls.

Payton says something, disparity only grows.

Seems plausible Goodell would operate that way.
