If Rodgers signs with the Steelers I guarantee everyone they will get the max number of prime time games just like the Jets did last season. My point is despite what many may believe is no longer the case, the networks still consider Rodgers an elite QB.

They don’t need Rodgers to max out on primetime games, their fanbase and viewership is huge. 😂

They had 5 primetime games last year (3 of which in a 4-week span) plus a Christmas Day game against the Chiefs. That’s also not including the primetime slot they had for their playoff game or two other “Game of the Week” slots at 4:25 ET against the Eagles and Broncos.

With or without Rodgers, the Steelers will be on as many national broadcasts the NFL wants them on.

I just can’t see that working. Tomlin seems like a coach who doesn’t take crap from a QB and Rodgers seems like a QB who does nothing but give crap to a coach. Yes they’ll be in prime time and people will tune in for the fireworks.

I'm kinda thinking the opposite. Since Roethlisberger, the Steelers haven't been able to field a competent offense. They get by with their strong defensive identity and culture. But you can see they are clearly a step behind the Ravens who have figured out both sides of the ball. A guy like Rodgers could come in and elevate the offense without Tomlin having to handle most of it. Wilson, and Fields, need good coaching and scheme to thrive. Rodgers doesn't appear to need that, at least as much. I think many, including Rodgers himself, put him in the category of the Bradys, Mannings, Favres who can go to a new team and make up for lack of good coaching and scheme. Jury on that for Rodgers is still out though as it didn't work with the Jets, but then again, its the jets...
