Over the past 10 yrs, there have been 5 SB champs that were ranked out of the Top 10 offensively, and 2 SB champs that were ranked out of the Top 10 defensively. However, there's only been 1 team (2008 NYG) that was ranked out of the Top 10 in Point Differential (#13). They were also out of the Top 10 in both Offense and Defense, so my take is that they got lucky, especially since they only finished 2nd in their division that year.

Right now, the Saints are #1 Offense, #16 Defense, and #1 Point Differential. If we keep this up, we have a great chance of winning the whole thing.

Well the good news is that our defense rank should continue to get better looking at the prolific offenses we will playing here soon.

We'll probably give up a lot of 4th quarter garbage yards. The only way we get back into the top 8 defense(based on yards) is to get stuck in defensive battles. No body wants to see that happen.

I think the Giants were also out of the top 10 in turnover differential. They were statistically the worst team ever even to make to the Super Bowl, much less win it.
