Penning is penciled in as the Saints’ starting RT going forward until his contract is up. LT and RT are set. The interior OL severely needs starting caliber players at G and C. I’m not sure if McCoy will hold up in the future.

Agree, these injured guys may never be back as their old selves. I hope they do come back 100% but I hope we shut them down for the rest of 2024.

I don't know about that. Dude has turned a new leaf, I think as of now he is not an elite OT but he is an average JAG type player you can go through a season with and not look to replace him right away.

Playing Olave now is like one of the dumbest moves you can make. If that guy tears his ACL or Achilles tendon your screwed for the next season. Any major injury effect next season availability. This has to be up there with resigning Cam Jordan and keeping Davenport over Henderickson.

Would you even wanna risk that on a failed season? Him playing does nothing to help the team, you already know he is a star, no need for talent evaluation, he is not even stat chasing (IE: Kamara), playing him makes no logical sense at all.
