Interview with a Vampire TV Series (1 Viewer)

I have it on and only look up when Alexandria is doing it, running, or upset. Those are the only times the show is watchable.

What are you talking about?!?!

NOTHING HAPPENS TO THEM.
That's just false. Diedre got her head chopped off. Carlotta was murdered by Rowan. Rowan's killed several people. Carlotta and her sister killed that caregiver lady by locking her downstairs but yes, Lasher techinically is the one that killed her. Cip was almost murdered by Lasher and needed magical help to survive. A group of people tried to kill Rowan. Rowan is pregnant. And that's not even the latest episode. Things have been happening to them the whole season.

*snooze* After they killed Annabeth Gish, nothing else has happened ... for me. Honestly, the only thing keeping me in now is Lasher. Had a thing for Jack Huston since BE

He plays a much more likable, yet intimately tragic character in Richard. He was a lot more stronger person then Michael Pitt's Jimmy Darmony, but the stringent, severe emotional, psychological PTSD trauma lingered on him and affected him severely even as the seasons wore on, and yet even though he worked as a occasional mob assassin/hitman, I never saw Richard as a bad guy. Just a deeply wounded, intrinsically flawed-yet-tortured man who if he hadn't been exposed to the dense, horrific monotony of WWI trench warfare, mightve been able to build a happy, fulfilling life yet became one of "the lost, broken men" as T.S. Elliot famously said. He had a deeply understandable perspective that he had survivor's guilt, and his brutal honesty revealed his character's humanity that even though his character died too young, he still died with some sense of purpose and accompishment.

Crazy, ironic thing about Richard Marrow is that supposedly according to BE's producer's, Terence Winter, and Huston himself, his character was only going to last a recurring character in the first two seasons, but audiences identified so well to his presence and chemistry with other BE main stars, that he stayed on for much longer-than-expected run. Huston has personally said the role was his "breakthrough role" and remains a favorite of his.

Several of the people Rowan killed, particularly at the start of the series, just happened because she didnt about her true family background, her magical abilities, and the fact that she truly couldn't control any of her powers. Whenever she got angry, whether it was due to disgust, anger or rage at perceived sexism or misgyony shown from executives or her hospital boss administrator, some power inside her caused them to have strokes or hemarroges and even she was horrified in the initial aftermaths.

I've still get the occasional subconscious sense watching Rowan in Mayfair Witches even now that this new life, new all-powerful identity is a pretense she's never going to be totally comfortable with. She mentioned earlier in the season that she couldn't imagine herself ever having kids and that her pediatric patients were her kids. If she could somehow revert back to being a pediatric child surgeon, work her way up towards running one of the nation's best, most professional children's wards in hospitals, she would jump at it, automatically.

The AMC series Interview with the Vampire will begin filming its second season next week in Prague, but one actor won’t be back with the rest of the cast and crew. Bailey Bass has exited the show, leaving Delainey Hayles to step into the role of teen vampire Claudia, AMC Networks announced on Friday, March 31.

“Bailey Bass is a talented actor who did a remarkable job bringing the character of Claudia to life in Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire,” the company said in a news release. “For a variety of reasons, Delainey Hayles will appear as Claudia in season two. We are grateful for Bailey’s unforgettable performance in season one and wish her nothing but the best.”

Bass, who is now starring as Tsireya in the Avatarfilm series, addressed her departure as well. “Due to a variety of unforeseen circumstances, I’m unable to return to Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampirefor the second season. Playing Claudia has been a dream role and an incredible ride. I wish Delainey the best of luck in taking over. I cannot wait to watch. I’m extremely appreciative of AMC, the producers, Jacob [Anderson], Sam [Reid], the crew and, of course, the wonderful fans.”…….
