It's a good interview, he talks about tightening the purse strings for the cap as well, touches on quite a few subjects.

If anyone is in doubt that no matter what Allen is back for at least one more year after this one they’re just in denial. Also, I love how Mickey keeps blaming covid on our cap woes. The entire league had the same issues, were the only one still drowning in it…..

An MT re-signing would explain why we’ve added only Cedrick Wilson at WR in FA at a bargain salary. It’d also makes the Duncan-Thomas exchange look weird from both sides.

Duncan’s editorial implied Thomas’ Saints career has completely ended. Thomas said Duncan is the Saints mouthpiece who’s used by the team to lessen players value. Yet the door could still be open to re-sign with the team who he thinks lessens players value through Duncan’s articles.

Hearing Mickey admit that they’re planning on stepping back from making splash free agent signings this year and next in order to get the cap under control confirms what many people were thinking was the case with our approach so far.
