Is All Hope Lost? (1 Viewer)

Hope is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all -

And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard -
And sore must be the storm -
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm -

I’ve heard it in the chillest land -
And on the strangest Sea -
Yet - never - in Extremity,
It asked a crumb - of me.

Did those lines come from a Slayer song??

The Saints' core, especially on offense is very good (yes, I think Carr is good enough to win big IF you surround him with very good talent). An elite TE to go with Olave, Shaheed and MVS would be fantastic. Strangely, the defense needs more attention than the offense. Definitely need 2 new DTs, a DE, LB and FS.

Sadly for this season and the next there isn't much hope for me.... Have that feeling Loomis hangs around for another season and we trade up for a big SEE I AM TRYING TO BUILD A WINNING TEAM move , like trading up for a franchise QB.... and using up some of our picks this year and some next year to make the trade...

Yes, this was clear when Loo hired the deer. This house is burning slow.

I ask myself is all hope lost?
Is there only pain and hatred...and misery?
What’s so funny…??

Knowing the OP, the title of this thread is quite possibly a reference to that song. That it took me this long to figure it out speaks to my current level of functioning :hihi:
