K'Lavon Chaisson is still young. I know he did not set the nfl on fire as a former 1rst rounder with the jags. would he be good in our new 3-4 with godcheaux and young? i know im a LSU homer lol.

Chase Young ... (2024) 31 Tck, 8 TFL, 5.5 Sacks, 34 Pressures in 742 D Snaps
K'L Chaisson .... (2024) 32 Tck, 7 TFL, 5 Sacks, 10 Pressures in 508 Def Snaps
(all stats from PFR)

They both turn 26 this summer.

I'd love to see their run grades if anyone has any.

His stats are pretty bad but his snap counts are low...
Very poor sack rate & tackles for a loss.
Somewhere around league minimum signing is what I would offer for him.
1 year deal to prove himself...

He's the kind of player we should add as we transition the defense. He has the size/skill/athletic ability to thrive in a Staley 3-4 system, but he's dealt with some injuries, poor performance and bad teams while int he NFL.

Sign him cheap and see who it works out. We do need 3-4 OLBs so we need to look everywhere to find them.

Worse case he is a rotational guy for the new defense, best case he carves out a role if he can stay healthy, either way we should be targeting players who fit the scheme.

Yet many want to bring Chase back.

Exactly, we need guys for the new defense and inexpensive/talented guys who haven't hit yet are nice lottery tickets.
