If Mason Taylor fell to 7th, for example, I'd be tempted.

[Deep Slow Narrator Voice]

In a world, where Mason Taylor would not be available at #9, one team, the Saints, showed the testicular fortitude to defy all of history, and trade up for him.

If the Coach Moore Loves Cam and we dont give up the farm, then I would not be unhappy, but I think we have so many spots that we need upgraded that trading back is the wise move. I'd love a trade down cascade. trade down to the mid teens for an extra 2nd + 4th, trade from the teens to the middle 20s for a extra 2nd. trade from the 20s into the top of the 2nd for a 3rd and a 4th. I saw one mock where we trade down cascaded with 3 trades, and had picks 31, 40, 49, 63, 66, 71, 81, and 93.

8 top 100 picks would be transformational.

Maybe Hunter if he's really the best wr and cb in the draft AND we let him play both. We need both. I don't watch enough college ball to know if he's really that good or not though

Hard to answer this question because we view this question in a vacuum without access to how the players are actually graded.

I'd be fine if we trade up for someone if we have identified them as a must with an extremely high grade that they don't want to pass on.

We have 2 thirds and 2 fourths. I would be shocked if we don't move some of that ammo to get our guy at some point in the first two rounds.

I trust Moore's judgement and I am fully on board with us making sure we land a signature piece if that's what he wants to build around.

One thing's for sure...we don't pick this high very often, so we need to make it count, even if it means taking advantage of the positioning to get into a prime top 5 or so slot.
