Is There a Player You'd Trade Up For? (1 Viewer)

I'm against trading up in the 1st simply because I haven't seen them draft the type of player that you should do that for. Their track record is pretty awful at this point and given that we have such thin depth, which you normally get with later picks, I'd say those late picks are more valuable to this Saints front office than trading them to move up.

Maybe Hunter if he's really the best wr and cb in the draft AND we let him play both. We need both. I don't watch enough college ball to know if he's really that good or not though
He just did something that is rare at the collegiate level. He’s pretty dang good. I honestly never pondered the idea of trading up for Travis, but now you have me thinking🤔🤔🤔🤔

Only position I am trading up for is a QB... this year not sure any or worthy of a trade up except for maybe Ward or Sanders and talking about 2 or 3 picks sooner....

I’m sure there have been several instances where we were trying but the facts are we never have. We have, however spent resources to trade up.
You have to go back a way to 2007, but yes, Loomis has traded down, so 'never' is an overstatement.

I hope they trade down this year in the 1st for the first time in forever and acquire a second 1st rounder for next year. Let Rattler cook and see what he really has. In a perfect world we have our QB and draft talent around him. If not, pack the two 1st rounders next year to move up and get the QB you like.
No need to trade up this year. I think it's in fact the best year in a long time to trade down.
