It's been 7 years since a team made the Super Bowl without a 1st Round bye. And it gets worse. (1 Viewer)

I couldn't care less. Stats can't suit up and play. There's a reason why they still play the games.

I believe that the Saints are still that much better than any other team in the NFC at home or on the road.

That's fine.

The bottom line is that none of that tends to matter in the playoffs. Attrition sets in when you don't get the bye. You suffer more injuries, teams get to rest and game plan in advance for you.

Our chances of making the Super Bowl just dropped exponentially.

If our chances of making the SB depended on a big time performance from Kirk Cousins in prime time, then our chances dropped exponentially before the game was even played.

But look, we ARE a GOOD road team this year. Yes, if we have to play in a blizzard in GB, that's not good, but otherwise I think playing on the road is just a manageable hurdle.

No way in hell we are winning 4 games in the playoffs. We aren't built for it.

1-5 on the road and that took the greatness of Drew Brees to pull that lone win out in Philly
We won 5 games with a backup QB.

Jesus Christ some fans on here with their pessimism do not deserve to celebrate should we win the Super Bowl.
