1-5 on the road and that took the greatness of Drew Brees to pull that lone win out in Philly.

Lol, I bet you're a blast at parties with that pessimism. That 1-5 record on the road has absolutely nothing to do with this team and season. This team is absolutely built to win on the road. We beat the Seahawks in their place, beat the Falcons on the road, in fact, we have more losses at home than we do on the road. If we have to play on the road, I like our chances.

Heck, going on the road to beat a pretty good Titans team yesterday is no small thing. I like our chances in the playoffs, whether it's at home or on the road.

We lost that game and two more - one on the road to the Rams on the road when Brees went out for the game early, and the other to the 49ers. They won every other game - how much more do you realistically expect from your team under the circumstances they had to deal with this season?

I'm pointing out that 2 of those 3 losses came at home, and the road loss involved losing our starting QB during the game. We won every other road game.

The bottom line is that none of that tends to matter in the playoffs. Attrition sets in when you don't get the bye. You suffer more injuries, teams get to rest and game plan in advance for you.

Our chances of making the Super Bowl just dropped exponentially.

As I said before, stats don't play ball. No present team is the same team that helped produce your stats. There are factors that can't be factored into stats. There are things that can't be accounted for. Garropolo could slip and fall down the stairs and change everything.

Bottom line is the game has to be played out. I'll guarantee you no coach is feeding his team Coco Puff stats because they do or don't have a bye. They're throwing red meat in that cage and prodding them with a stick.

This is football. "You >>play<< to win the game!" lol.

Indeed. I really think if the officials get the fumble returned for a td correct and Brees wasn't hurt, Saints win going away in the 2nd half. Losing Brees took the wind out of their sails. Saints have been solid on the road all season long.
